Bazaar
Project overview
Bazaar is an application dedicated to combating the pressing issue of food waste. It facilitates the sale, exchange, and sharing of products and dishes within local communities.
My role
Bazaar is a project that I worked on during a UX designer course. From conceiving the idea, I went through the research phase to designing wireframes and prototyping.

What did I learn?
While working on the application, I discovered that most of us don't have a strategy for dealing with the issue of excessive food, and throwing it out causes us significant frustration. I believe that the application I proposed would address this problem effectively.
I'm glad that I conducted research right from the start, which verified my initial hypotheses. At first, I assumed that users would want to connect through food exchange, but in-depth interviews made me realize that a significant number of people have concerns about inviting others to their homes for food pickup.
This observation led me to introduce the option of pickup from refrigerated lockers, significantly improving the reception of the application.
